1/10/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Sunday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 11. January 2010 19:41

Today was not a good "weight loss" day for me.  I worked out to my Julianne Hough Dancing with the Stars DVD and I even played a little Wii fit but I don't think all of that counteracted the several bites of food I took today!  First, I made my husband chocolate chip banana pancakes.  Well, obviously I had to try them.  Remember, my body does not react well with sugar.  So a bite for me can easily cause me to gain a pound or two.  I have great will power but when I am cooking and it's right in front of me I pretty much can't resist it.  Then, we had an unexpected guest come to dinner.  I decided to make chocolate chip cookies for her.  It just went on and on.  I could not stop myself from eating a few bites of cold cookie dough (I know, I know, raw cookie dough is not good for you!).  To top it all off, I made the cookies warm, gooey, and under-cooked, just the way I like them.  Do you think I refrained from trying them?  Absolutely not!  I had a huge bite which I know sounds silly to you, but once again, disaster for me!  We'll see what the scale says tomorrow but it can't be good.  Especially when my consultant says to stay away from sugar and salt right now while I'm on meds that cause weight gain.  Lovely!  Ah well, we all fall off the wagon sometimes!

Hiya, nice day.. Your article is extremely impressive. I never considered that it was feasible to accomplish something like that until after I looked over your post. You certainly gave a great perception on exactly how this whole process works. I will make sure to return for more advice. Thanks
